West Lancashire Church Service
St Michael and All Angels Croston
Sunday 9th June 2024
It is usual that this annual Church Service is blessed by warm dry weather, but alas no so today. However, the grey skies and the constant threat of rain didn’t stop the Knights of the Division turning out along with their families in support of the Intendant General, R.Ill Knight Graham Williams and his Deputy Stephen Gregory.
The service, a mixture of hymns and readings, was conducted by our very own Puissant Knight Gratten Willaims who delivered a meaningful and thought-provoking sermon, extolling  the principles of most Christian Masonic Orders.
Following the offertory collection and singing the National Anthem, the team paraded out of the Church and were joined in in the adjacent Church Hall by the congregation for tea and coffee with a delightful selection of biscuits, scones, cakes and strawberries!
Very civilised and very enjoyable.
Our thanks to the Rector and Wardens of the Parish for allowing us to use their magnificent Church again this year.
